Smack in the heart of the Borough of Pennington lays Shear Hair Dezigns, one of the local beauty salons. It is a quaint little shop located on Delaware Avenue, right off route 31 and adjacent to Za Restaurant. Caroline Biondi, the owner, and her group of chosen hair specialist are very good at what they do as can be attested to by the sheer volume of customers it has on any given weekend, and the length of its waiting list. Service at Shear Dezigns is by appointment only. My wife and my two teenage daughters, insist that Caroline is their favorite hair stylist. The environment is pleasant, well lit and clean, and has a very welcoming feel to it. Upon entering you are greeted by a smiling receptionist. And you can immediately hear the clip, snip of the scissors cutting hair, and the buzz of hair dryers. The waiting area consist of two comfortable couches which are surrounded by daily periodicals and magazines. It is a very lively place and everyone there is always smiling and happy. On top of all these great assets, the prices are very reasonable.
