I love my gel manicures from Anna Nails! I never got my nails done until I randomly stopped in one day to treat myself and have been coming back ever since! The manicure lasts about 2 weeks. I am not one for talking to my technician during a manicure so I enjoy the relaxing peace and quiet :)
I went without an appointment for pedicure/manicure. I have been here before, but this was my first experience with Nita; it was such a pleasure being able to talk a bit with my manicurist. I have been going back to Nita ever since. Although I have never had a bad experience at Anna's Nails I do enjoy a bit of conversation which you don't usually get with any of the other girls; management has a tendency to shut them up so they don't spend any more time with someone than necessary. That would be my only complaint, allow the manicurist a little extra time with clients.
I decided last minute to get my nails done for the holidays and I am SO glad I chose Anna's. My technician Nita, was one of the sweetest people ive ever dealt with. She instantly made me feel comfortable with her upbeat friendly attitude. I got a full set of acrylics with a French manicure finish and am incredibly happy with the end result. Nita asked me throughout the process if I was ok with length, shape etc and that she would be happy to change anything I didn't like. Needless to say I will definitely be going back to Anna's again.
They're great! Highly recommend Nita or Mary, both do a fabulous job.
I did not have a good experience. When I arrived with several other girls and no appointment, I was ordered to fill out the sign-in sheet. I was then rushed to pick a color and have a seat. While looking at all the color options for gel manicures one of the manicurist was hovering over me to pick a color. Every time I picked one up she made a comment like, "that one is the one," or "that one pretty, this way.." I did not appreciate being rushed to pick a color. Once I sat down, the woman who was doing my nails made no attempt to be nice at all. There was no eye-contact or verbal cues. She did not even say, "Hello, how are you?" She was very rough with my hands and cut me twice. She pushed my hands in the water instead of asking me politely to soak them. During the massage she slammed my hands together which hurt.My manicure was messy and there was polish on my skin. I hesitated to ask her to take it off and even then not all of it was removed. My gel was thin and not as thick/full as it normally would be. If someone feels uncomfortable speaking with their customer because of a language barrier that is understandable but there is absolutely no reason to be rude. When I am paying for a service I except the best. I will not be returning to Anna's.
