I'm not sure when this place changed ownership, but you can tell a HUGE difference the atmosphere. I was not unhappy with the previous ownership, but the new ones have definitely stepped it up a notch. Just a few small things and changes in decor (again small changes) have really made this my top place for pedis. Tammy does the best job on pedis. And she is super sweet. Everyone there is always helpful, friendly, and good at what they do.
Not the quality I was expecting. I told her I wanted a clear polish and she just didn't paint my fingernails until I reminded her and she said, "Oh, you wanted those too?" The clear polish turns purple when I go outside, which makes me feel like I'm developing frostbite. She didn't file my nails so they would be nice and even - she actually filed very quickly without paying attention, which seemed to be the case since some of my nails had some rough edges and they were not evened out. I brought several people - I was taking out my bridal party for a nice day of relaxing. We showed up very late, but they were still nice about it. They didn't really understand that I wanted them to figure out who was going where first - I had given them gifts to put on the chairs, wrote who was getting what service and which gift bag belonged to which girl, but when we got there, they were in the back, and there was a lot of confusion as to who was doing what and when. We brought two six-year-old girls, which the staff handled very well, but as to the quality of the services they performed... I have never gotten a manicure or a pedicure, and maybe it was the lady who did mine, but it was not what I was expecting. They were very nice and the cost wasn't bad, but I wasn't really happy with my nails. Not only that, but the massage part of the spa has separated from the nails part, so they are two different businesses now. That was kind of a bummer since I was looking for a package deal. At least they were still located next to each other.
