This review is in regards to Angela Brown @ Perfect Image WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I never write reviews but am unable to ignore this situation. I purchased and scheduled a pedicure for myself and friend for her birthday. I received a text around 1am saying she needed to reschedule. Ok...things happen. I reschedule (about a month in advance) and received a text 45 minutes before the appt. saying she was running late. I wasn't able to make the appt. and sent my sister instead. When my sister arrived, the nail tech informed her she didn't have enough time before her next appt. The nail tech sent me a text saying she "can't reschedule her whole day"...she (the nail tech) was the one running late! I DO NOT recommend this salon; the nail tech is unfriendly, unprofessional and rude.
I get my hair cut and my teeth whitened there at The Perfect Image. I love the girls that work there, they are all so friendly and personable. The teeth whitening really has worked out great for me. Thanks to them my teeth and hair is always looking great! I have been using them for the past three years and will keep on using them. 5 stars!!!! I would much rather get my teeth whitened there instead of going to the dentist and overpaying.
I very rarely get time off to go to a salon, so it's a big deal for me. I expect to walk out having had a pleasant experience. New to Oklahoma CIty, I made an appointment with a stylist at Perfect Image for a hair cut, color, and highlights. We spoke on the phone and I explained I wanted subtle tan highlights to add texture and depth to my new style. When I arrived at the salon we again spoke about what I wanted. I then spent the next three hours in her chair in silence. The only time she spoke to me was when I asked a question. I am used to hair dressers asking personal questions and trying to get to know their new client. Not this stylist. Feeling a little ackward, I tried to engage her by asking about her child whose picture was at her station. Once I saw the highlights and realized my "idea" of subtle and what I had was not the same, I told her I was not happy. I did not like the color of the highlights. They looked orange blonde to me and I felt like I had huge streaks in my hair, nothing subtle about that. When she didn't respond, I told her I felt like I looked like a "striped cat". Instead of immediately trying to console me and tell me it could be easily fixed, she just got mad. She asked me why I was being "hostle". I asked her to tone it down so that the whole salon didn't know. I did not want a scene. She told me that I did that when I said I looked like a "striped cat". She told me that she did exactly what I asked for (even though she never showed me a color swatch.) Bottom line is this-she finished cutting my hair. She did a good job with the cut. She did offer to fix the highlights free of charge at a later visit. I paid her exactly what she had asked for and tipped her $20 for her time and left. It's a shame. The hair is fixable. The experience is not. I won't be back.
A friend and I purchased a groupon for pedicures and weren't really thrilled about our experience. Nail tech didn't have the best attitude, and our "aromatherapy" pedicure didn't exactly seem so therapeutic sitting right by the entrance and there wasn't really anything aromatherapy incorporated in with it if you ask us... next time I'll pay extra and go somewhere else
