DO NOT USE THIS SPA!!!! YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU DID!. Seriously! It started off well enough as I became a member, paying the monthly massage amount of $59.95 per month, which was fine as I agreed to that. In light of my heavy travel schedule for work, I couldn't get in to the spa to take advantage of the monthly massage I was paying for but didn't have time to utilize. So, I decided to cancel the monthly membership and simply start getting massages when I was available and in town. At least that was the plan. So, I went in to cancel which was fairly cut and dry except when it came to the balance I still had on account. In the small print of the membership rules and reg's, it does state that whatever balance you have left (meaning whatever you've already paid for in advance but hadn't used yet), must be used within 30 days. Forget about the fact that this is a completely unfair regulation within the membership, and just plain "bad for business", the fact is when I went in to cancel the membership I don't even remember the individual I was working with at the counter even informing me of this 30 day rule. When comes to my money (and I believe most people would agree with me on this point), I don't miss anything if there is a chance I may lose some of it. I have now lost $119.90 because I didn't use the money (MY-MONEY), within the thirty day period after the membership was cancelled. I was about thirty days past the cut-off, which again is ridiculous! So, I've now lost the money. In the end this company has basically taken my $120. and not refunded it to me or allowed me to use the money to schedule a massage because I ran past the thirty day cutoff! 30 DAYS!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This a great concept for the he scamming of individuals hard-earned money. If I had been told in a clear concise but in-my-face fashion, that after thirty days whatever balance I had left in my monthly membership account would be gone, you can bet your bottom dollar I would've scheduled a massage, end of story. Do yourself a favor, find another spa to get a massage, as this service provider is bad news.

The front desk is very helpful and friendly. My daughter has problems with her back because of softball and has to get a massage every month. Janine is wonderful with her and we absolutely recommend this spa!

Do not waste your time!!!! I watched as a middle aged white gentleman was robbed of his money when he couldn't attend his massage due to unforeseen family emergency. What ever happened to customer service? Seriously I turned away while in line after listening to this poor guy cry about loosing $95 because he was devastated and in no kind of shape to attend his massage or whatever he came there for after loosing his daughter in a custody battle earlier in the day! Wow! I don't know how you people can live with yourselves!!!

I had a massage here a while back. It wasn't that great. Definitely had better. But my mom decided since it's so close that we should just make an appointment and not have to drive far. The reason I'm writing this review is because the girl I spoke to was the rudest person ever. I could hear her say "oh my god" and then rudely interrupt me to tell me how busy she was while I was trying to have my mom pick a time. A lot of my friends get massages there and I'm going to make sure I send them elsewhere from now on. Hopefully she won't have to bitch about how busy she is anymore

GRR! Some time back, my significant other and I had a membership at Hand & Stone in Glen Mills. We froze our membership and then cancelled it as the income situation in our household changed, but they charged us for one last month and said the last massages would always be there. I called today to schedule for that and they REFUSED to stand by what they had told me. I spoke to Jerry, the franchise owner, and he said he couldn't do anything about it. They've got my $100 (two memberships), will not refund it and they will not provide any service at all. It's also past the credit card dispute date, unfortunately. I liked the therapists, but I'll NEVER go back to them as a result. DO NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP HERE!
