Hair Cuttery
Reviews
I just wanted to counter the negative reviews with an emphatically positive one. I took a chance and got my hair cut at the Hair Cuttery earlier today and am very happy with the experience and result. April was very warm and friendly to me, and cut my hair exactly as I specified. No wait time involved. $18 for a shampoo and trim isn't half bad. (For the record, I am a female with long, straight hair.)
in my experience, you can get a great cut for ~$20 or a lousy one for $150+. it really depends on the stylist, keeping in mind that not every stylist is adept with all hair types and styles (just ask anyone with curly hair). unless it's a really special occasion, i'm perfectly happy to take my chances at the more affordable places with the knowledge that it all grows out anyways. so onto the review - sue was my stylist today and i thought she did a great job layering and adding volume to my medium-long straight hair. she was polite, didn't rush, and confirmed what i wanted before she started, checking the lengths with me carefully. i'm very happy with the result and would go back to her again.
I hate the people there cause they cut my hair too short(looks like 3 in off) when i wanted it to be just 1! I am outraged and I never want to go there ever again. The lady that cut my hair kept annoying me and saying ," Dont you want an angle cut, it will look beautiful." I said no even though she is being so stupid and trying to do it her way even though its my hair. I think she doesnt remember well either which strands of hair she cut already because she kept on cuttig the same one over and over again so now its up to my shoulder when my hair used to be at my diaphragm. I hate the Hair Cuttery and never want them to cut my hair ever again!
Good place for a quick hair cut, 16 bucks for a gentlemen hair cut.
