After reading heather_ppg's review, as an owner, I looked into the allegations for "Bad Wax & Poor service." First of all you moved into town sometime in July & tried Nittaya Salon & Spa a week before July 20th. Your next appointment for a Brazillian had to be before July 30th because I didn't have an Esthetician that did brazillian for the Next two weeks. She was on Holidays. Also you tried Meridan before Aug 10th. So obviouly you have had three brazillians in four weeks. Which can be a bit excessive and may be the cause of your sensitivity. Also in regard to Poor service: We can only find one appointment on the books for a brazillian that is not a reqular client & the appointment was for 10 am, the 1st one in the morning. So should not have waited an hour. We also carry several waxes for various skin types, including a gel wax which is excellent on sensitive skin. I am also surprised I have been not made aware of this situation since I am the owner & am willing to address and rectify any such situation. I also welcome ANY comments on my customer service so I am able to improve and grow with the client. Thank you, Heather, for posting this comment. As now I am aware of possible problems needing my attention.
The review that I wrote in regards to my bad Brazilian is for one that I had over a year ago at your salon. I believe it was August of 2008. I simply wrote a review since I had already done so for 2 other salons in town. So no... I hadn't had 3 brazilians in 4 weeks. That is excessive, and I can't imagine that anyone's hair even grows that fast! It is good to hear that your salon has waxes for sensitive skin now. Perhaps it is worthwhile to give your salon a second chance.
