Took my daughter there when she was just over a year old. Although staff was friendly enough, our appointment was late and charged me $18.00 for three snips of the scissors! We were in the waiting room longer than my daughter was in the chair! I pay less than 18 dollars at a barber shop for my son to get his head buzzed and he's in the chair twice as long with twice the work. I would never go back.
My two and five year old boys think going to Beaners to get their hair cut is as good as a trip to McD's playroom. All the stylists I've dealt with are very nice and patient, and do nice work. My two year old has a hard time sitting still and they always pull out a variety of toys to keep him occupied and sitting. The facility is clean and well-stocked and I've gotten some great educational tips from the stylists on how to take care of my sons' hair which is very curly and hard to manage. No complaints here, so I keep going back!
We took our 10 month old son to get his hair cut. Jenn, the person that cut his hair, did an excellent job. She was able to distract him, and cut his hair. And he looked awesome after his hair cut. She explained everything to him in a quick manner, and someone else blew bubbles to distract him. It was great. Definitely worth the cost.
