Alyssa S is amazing! She gave me such a great cut when I was unhappy with my hair and I didn't even know what would make it better. But she totally did it! The salon is really nice, very funky and stylish. They had water and teas and nice glass cups too. (I don't know about you guys but I HATE styrofoam.) The rest of the staff was really friendly too. This is my new favorite salon.

Clearly these other reviews were written by friends and family . I had booked an appointment 5 or 6 weeks in advance for my best friends wedding and was called at 9 am and told that my stylist had food poisoning and would not be able to do my hair at 10 AM. So a whole one hour notice. When I explained that this was for a wedding, and that I had made sure to book way in advance I was told "sorry, nothing we can do" by the salon manager. It's convenient that my stylist got "food poisoning" on a Friday night when she had a 10 am appointment on saturday. Also,I find it incredible that there was nothing they could do as my hair is straight and simple to work with.I will not be going back, nor do I recommend anyone go to this poorly run and managed salon. Steer clear.

I have been a loyal customer of Twisted Banana since they opened in 2009 and I will not go anywhere else. Their rates are competitive and fair. The salon is very edgy, clean and up to date. The staff that work there are very passionate about hair and up to date on currrent trends in hair, make up and tattoos. If you want a fun and bright colour they have colour, and just the right tech to do it! I have very long hair and am regularily at the salon having my hair cut and or coloured- I have never left unhappy. Twisted Banana Rocks- if you want an awesome cut or colour head on over! They would be more than happy to help you. ****As for those that say the store owner is threatening and violent- you are Crazy- she is wonderful and deals with the public- not everyone is perfect. She is an amazing stylist and apprentice tattoo artist- I have been going there for 4 almost 5 years now and she has been nothing more that fabulous all the time!!****

Horrible - called for my first appt because I was running a little behind (10 minutes) and they told me not to bother to come. Nice! I called to confirm the day of the second, rebooked appt and they didn't even have me scheduled yet I had received an appt confirmation call the day before. Staff did not even apologize, offer to rebook or anything. I guess they don't need my business or the business of anyone that asks me if I've ever been there....

Best of all worlds, Amazing hair from cuts, colors to updos as well as friendly, kind stylist. you want something different and fun or something sleek sexy this is the shop I have akways been able to trust on to give me either of those. Prices are very very resonable and the quailty is nothing short of Fabulous!. No Judgements here, no need to feel you have to dress to the 9's to get your hair done. but I always leave feeling like million bucks.
