As a Rep for one of the Beauty Distributors in the Interior, I have to say I was SHOCKED to see a negative comment for RA Hair Studio and Spa! Working in the industry and being in salons everyday I can tell you that RA is not only one of the TOP salons in the Interior but also one that other salons strive to be like! Not only are they incredibly talented stylists who stay on top of new trends with education consistently but they pride themselves on having second to none customer service. Although the guest who had the negative experience is, of course, entitled to her opinion, it's really too bad that she didn't go to anyone at RA to let them know of their experience and instead had to post a negative remark...they would have fixed the problem for you! That is a fact and anyone who has ever gone to RA can attest to this. I can't say enough good things about this salon, the stylists both in the hair and Spa side, the owners and the customer service staff. Oh, I forgot to mention that this is also where I chose to go along with my family and have done so since I moved to Kamloops 6 years ago. HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Do not go to this salon. My daughter who has extremely long hair that is always very well taken care of had a 'stylist' wash her hair then pull hard quickly and abruptly through the hair from the top to the bottom breaking it considerably with a big lump of hair in the brush at the end, causing my daughter to be upset for several days! I would have paid fourty dollars not to have a ruined day, upset daughter, and lots of her beautiful hair broken. Never going back. Do not be fooled this is not a quality salon. I was in the washroom, came out, and the hair was combed through, in only a couple of minutes. Other salons have taken ten to fifteen minutes to comb it out. And why...the place was almost empty of customers on a Saturday afternoon. That speaks volumes as well.
