DO NOT GO TO THIS "SALON". I went in with hair over 20 inches long. I very specific and wanted a small trim, for the student to take off maybe three or four inches. I walked out with a shoulder length BOB. This is not an exaggeration. I understand these are students, however, they are not given NEARLY enough training prior to working on actual clients. The individual who did my hair looked like they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. When the student asked for some assistance, the aggressive teacher came over and said "look how crooked that is!" This is NOT something you want to hear as a client in a salon chair, regardless if it is a school or not. Not only did I end up with hair 7 inches shorter than I anticipated it to be, but the student had no clue how to properly blow-dry my hair. I ended up taking the brush and blow drier into my own hands at the end to do the pieces around my face. I was fuming mad by the end of it, and I asked to see the teacher, yet she was no where around to fix the cut. I left the salon FURIOUS and I am still getting over the ordeal. I am not usually one to write a bad review, but if you are considering going to this salon to get a haircut for a good price, look somewhere else unless you want to get your hair completely butchered.
Lovely girls working/ studying there. I've been a few times and my husband too, for haircuts. Remember it is a school so it does take a long time because they are learning. The women supervising are also very friendly. Depending on who you get the hair cut can be good or bad but the supervisor usually fixes it right up. Last time I was there a huge wedding party was there getting their 'up-dos'. What a great budget idea! My only complaint is the guy (owner?) always seems to be a bit nasty/ unfriendly when I have been there.
