On Saturday evening may 17th 2014, I took my daughter and niece to get a pedi/mani + shallack On Sunday morning, my daughter started to loose the mani (one nail at a time), the first one happened before the wedding we were attending that same morning, and most of them fell off by Monday morning so really only lasted 12 hours. Paid $70.00 - what a rip off service was extremely rushed (and not so gentle) You can tell that they don't care at all about doing it right, they just want you in and out of there as fast as possible. My daughter went back on Tuesday (since Monday was a holiday - they were closed) to complain, and either get a refund or at least make another appointment to fix her nails, and they said to her that 'either stay now to get them re-painted' or 'too bad so sad', and they refused to give her a refund. I rarely post but they really pissed me off, how they handled the complaint, how they don't give a shit about their quality (or lack of) work, nor do they care that they lost yet another customer. Will never go back there, and encourage you to NOT GO THERE EVER.
Total awful service. Asked before I went in and was told 40 no tax. Thought great and when I went to pay and paid visa I was told I needed to pay the tax and a 2.00 processing fee. I paid but will be calling better business bureau. Will NOT go back.........Nails were not even cut straight.Had to rate a star for it go through but should be less than one star.
False advertising and fake. Shellac manicure is advertised for $25 (tax included); however, they charged $32. My sister and I walked-in for a basic mani, but one of the employees convinced us to get Shellac because a regular manicure would just chip off that day (that should have been our cue to leave). This employee likes to refer to everybody as "sweetie." She was the one giving my sister a manicure, and while asking my sister questions, would completely ignore her response/cut her off as soon as a regular walked-in. I don't see how they could possibly have regulars. Anyways, tons of WAY better salons in Ottawa. Oh yah, as I was waiting to pay, a customer of theirs (I assume) was expressing a complaint with her acrylic or gel nails; however, they did not listen to her concerns, rather they replied "you don't understand what I am saying because you don't do my job". Horrible.
NEVER GO HERE! Worst customer service ever, realy poor quality work and the girl burnt my fingers with chemical the day before my wedding. They used to be such a great salon for years I used them, the new management has really dragged this salon down and the staff shows just how much they care. The nail tech washed her hair mid-application of my nails. The two employees fought in their language overtop of my head (towel on her head) when the male employee stepped in to move along the process when I was visibly frustrated waiting 45 minutes to "dry" while she washed her hair. It took 3 hrs to apply acrylic nails (with a gel top I didn't ask for) and a french tip manicure. The nail tech Brushed acrylic on my fingers (didnt protect them first, or rinse excess material) causing a chemical burn. It is now 2 weeks later and my fingers are still recovering. I had to get antibiotics ointment and burn care from a doctor for the pain. They were rude, arrogant and dismissive when I came back to show them the burns. Weren't willing to help me stop the burns, would rather just deny any part in it.
Best pedicure ever. No nail polish for me...they are now in front of the food court in the mall
