The WORST professional experience I have EVER had. I booked an appointment over the phone with Paul for the same day. I arrive, and my first impression was not good. People were smoking in the salon, which was a first major turn off. After waiting 10 minutes while Paul dealt with personal things, he washed my hair which was fine. After that however, left me sitting for 15 mintues so he could deal with other person things (friends visiting, people working on the building, etc.). He finally returned, but could not focus on me for for than 30 seconds without being distracted by something (music, friends, the large dog who was there aswell). During my cut, Paul acted in a very unprofessional manner, seemingly intoxicated in some manner, distracted and rather annoying actually. At the end of the hair cut, he didnt inspect his job, or even really seem to care to ask me what I thought or anything. It was 2 hours before he finished a job that could have been done in under 1 hour. I couldnt wait to get out of there, so I paid him 60$ when I left. When I got home, I inspected the cut, and it was not any better than the overall expereince there. Uneven, blunt ends, stray hairs. It literally looked like it was a half done job. I sent him a text later to tell him how disappointed I was, but was then accused of not paying him. Overall such a bad exerpeince, I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I would do my best to spread the word of how truely awful this establishment is.

Worst salon experience. Booked an appointment with Paul over the phone asking for brown-purple ombre hair. Went to the salon and turns out he didn't have purple hair dye like he said did. He ended up blenching my hair from brown to bright orange and told me to come back another day for purple. I went back 2 days later and instead of purple, Paul got me teal hair dye because he insists that he couldn't find purple hair dye anywhere. I didn't want teal so he promise that he'll look again. The next day he contacted me saying he couldn't find purple but he ordered it and it will take a couple of days to come in. By that time, I was losing patience and decided to go to another salon after waiting 4 days for Paul to get purple hair dye. On top of that, I had bright orange hair that I was desperate to get rid off. I asked for a portion of my down payment ($200) back but he refused and was extremely unprofessional about it. He ripped me off and did not follow through with what I requested. A cilent shouldn't have to wait over a week for a salon to get purple hair dye. My guess was he wasn't persistent with finding the dye because I already paid him. Lesson learned on my part- don't pay before you like what you see and don't ever go to Paul Renna again.
