Blow Bar

If you only do one thing, do it well. THIS PLACE IS HOPELESS. Very pleasant lady, but no idea how to use a hairdryer. Had to go home and wash and style again, it was that poor. Waste of £25 - better to pay more to have a really decent blow dry. There are lots of great places in Islington.
I have been having my hair blow dried for 20 years every 3 days. I am known as a difficult client everywhere and really really particular. For years I have gone to top notch salons and paid excessive amounts of money. About 2 years ago, I chanced upon this salon as I needed a last minute blow dry. Not only are all of their stylist great at blow drys, a comment I do not make likely, but their manager Rachel is the best and also most reasonably priced colourist I have ever been to. I am constantly stopped on the street by women, who want to know "who did your colour?" I have been to most of the blow dry bars in London. This is the only one that for 25 pounds actually offers full service and will spend an hour with your hair not just 30 minutes. Ask for Rachel or Sandra if you are really particular like me! I promise you won't be disappointed.
Do not go here! Went for a blow dry on new years eve and the service was terrible. They washed my hair with ice cold water (apparently the hot water was broken), then rushed through my blow dry in about ten minutes. Two girls did my hair at once and they pulled it so hard my scalp was still hurting 3 days later. When I complained they refused to give me a proper apology or any discount etc. I'd never go back.
Efficient and friendly
