Great place to go and relax and get a great cut! Seriously, the cut is second to none, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and they've recently had a facelift in the shop, and it looks amazing! Even though I now live over an hour commute away - I still come every month for the cut - it's well worth it! Mem and the guys are awesome - highly recommended! Just a tip - make an appointment!

Back in 2010 I was a young fresh faced lad who'd just got a job in Canary Wharf and moved to the Isle of Dogs.  I tried a fair few places in London and although the haircuts were decent, they were expensive and the experience lacked heart. I stumbled in to Chaplins on a cold winters night in 2011 and haven't had my haircut anywhere else since.  The thing with Chaplins is you get out what you put in. This is the only place I know where customers are greeted by name as they walk through the door. The boys seem to know everyone and remember what's going on in their lives which creates a great atmosphere. For example Mem, the owner has a running joke about how he transformed me which he repeats nearly every time I'm in there,  attributing everything from success with the ladies to pay rises and promotions to his handiwork.  It's all good hearted and fun.  The haircuts are on point and prices are so low you can afford to go a couple of times a month.  So if you're looking for somewhere fun and a haircut so sharp it should come with a warning sign. You've found the right place. Give it a go.  You won't be disappointed. 

I have recently moved to London and am so fortunate that Chaplin is just few mins away from where I live. The friendliness, atmosphere and above all the skill at which these guys take care of your hair is amazing. Even, if I had to wait for few days to get an appointment from them I wont ever go anywhere else.

Chaplins offer top quality cuts at more than reasonable prices. The three barbers who work there are professional and always get the job done to a really high standard. I would advise anybody to go there.

For a long time I was looking for a reliable barbers in London which wouldn't cost me the earth. Chaplin's is that barbers. Every time I've walked in I've been treated politely and offered a drink while I wait. I've had several cuts from different barbers and I've never been disappointed. I'd advise booking as this little gem is getting more and more popular and there is often a queue or long waiting time if you don't!
