I just came across some of the reviews whilst looking up the telephone number and felt I had to add to the positive ones. I have used M&V for a few years now and always have V cut my hair (although I have had other guys cutting too). English may not always be the first priority but the quality and attention is second to none. And as Romans, the coffee is always exceptional. How can anyone complain about that for £25 in central London? I'm going to keep going there for some time to come.
I got a terrible hair cut for 25 pounds. Staff unfriendly, unhelpful and unable to speak English.
Terrible place to go. First, the junior shampooing my hair did not understand a word of English. Straight to basin without asking what style I wanted. The guy that cut my hair claimed to be the owner. I asked for a straightforward cut, a trim keeping the exact same shape. The cut was not only uneven on the sides but he cut far too much off the top, too late no going back. I work in the city and need to look sharp at all times and needless to say I did not tip these guys and won't be going back.
I don't know his name, but the Italian guy cut my hair. It's a great cut and the blowdry was fantastic. He took me last minute, late night, was quick, professional, friendly and unpretentious. I would definately go back.
