This is the best salon I've ever been to. The staff is wonderfully warm and welcoming, yet extremely professional. I've experienced many of their services and, again, they provided the best. I always love the way my hair looks after the color and cut, and they totally pamper you with the facials and pedicures. The products they offer for sale are extraordinary, and I love everything I've every purchased there. They are a shining example of what a beauty salon and boutique should be. I would also like to mention that, although I do have a favorite stylist, from time to time I have asked the other staff members to cut my hair or give me a pedicure, and every time they did an outstanding job. This is the perfect place to come for a new look or just to be pampered. They are all amazing!

I absolutely love Gentle Touch. When I moved back to Alabama in 2009 with my husband and son, my mom brought me here and it has been my go-to place to get my hair done and pretty much everything else is available. They have beautiful things in their boutique and offer a huge line of Aveda products, that way you don't have to order online or anything! :) I have gotten my hair done by Tonia Posey since 2009 and she has never let me down. She always does great with my hair and I absolutely love how she styles it at the end. I have gotten all-over color, highlights, layers, a cut, and so on. They are very warm and inviting at Gentle Touch and truly make you feel at home. Also, my granny started going to get her hair done there, (who is 81), and is just so happened that they were doing a drawing that day, and she won a pedicure! It was her first time ever getting one and she absolutely loved it. I'm so thankful Gentle Touch takes such good care of their clients and aren't stuck up :)) I would recommend it in a heartbeat! :)

I always have a great experience when I visit Gentle Touch. The staff is amazing! Laura always does an awesome job and I leave with a big smile on my face and a bag full of products from their boutique. I had a horrible experience at a different Aveda salon in the area and was in tears hating what they had done. The team at Gentle Touch not only fixed what others had damaged and destroyed, but also created an amazing style that "turned that frown upside down" and gained them a customer for life! I will ALWAYS go to Gentle Touch.

Atmosphere is great, Barbara is the best. Love the fact that while I am there I can shop for new jewelry, handbags, candles and other unique things, Would recommend Barbara and Gentle Touch to everyone!
