I had my brother's wedding and called in for an appointment pretty much in advance to make sure that Alice (whose work I saw before and onlie) was available. Noone bothered to mention that to reserve her I needed to pay a deposit. Literally a day before the wedding (so that way you cannot get away) Alice herself gives me a call and announces that since I paid no deposit she won't be able to be there and do my make up ( I still don't get WHY they couldn't tell me a bit in advance). I got a bit upset but she started reassuring me that she called in some girl who does a great job... Didn't have many choices so I went. From the moment she started putting that make up I was trying to tell her what to do and not to do... Cutting short- it was the most hideous make up I ever had. The customer service was apparently nor proper either. So before you call- MAKE SURE YOU METION THE DEPOSIT (OR MAYBE A LAY AWAY, LOOOOOOOOOL) Zara

Hi everyone. I got my make-up done at Alice Make-up Land about 2 months ago for my wedding! I looked AMAZING! my pictures came out looking gorgeous, my hair and make-up stayed thru the night. i had a consulatation at another salon, i dont want to mention names, they were charging double the price Alice told me. they did a test make-up on my face, the lady messed up 2 times. i was just so overwhelmed, and they charged me $150.00 for consulation( RIP OFF) i remembered alice from Best of LA 2010 Salons, and i gave her a try. I couldnt look any better! so anyways, i dont really understand the girls below me who thought it was "hideous" or "ugly"...maybe its your face...and not alice. Anyways, trust me! excellent salon! Definitely go to Alice!!!! You wont regret it!

I totally agree with the reviews(THE BAD ONES)...the first time I went to Alice it was a couple of years ago and the makeup was okay but the hair was horrible..so this time I decided to only go back for my makeup..it was the WORST decision!!! I left the salon crying!! My makeup was sooo ugly that even a 2 year old kid could have done a better job!! I went to the salon where I had to get my hair fixed and the re-did my whole makeup!!! The next day I went to Alice and complained..she was soooo rude! Very poor customer service! I will never ever go there again and i will let everyone know what a horrible job she does!!!

I've seen her work on TV and it's beautiful! and when me and my sis went to get out hair and make up done over there...first of all i could have paide someone 50 dollars to do the same hair style it was nothing creative and it looked the same as everyother hairstyle...Bueaty touch by Liana does WAYYYY better hair style although i dont really like the way they do make up there either and you have to wait hours there that's why i didnt go to her...N E ways as for my make up Alice didnt impress me i could have gone to MAC and got WAYYYY more beautiful and creative make up done for 50 dollars...and i love dramatic make up and i have the features for it she didnt use it LOL...last time i got my make up done at mac the in the Glendale Galleria people were walking in just to watch the make up artist do her job on my face the outcome was the best ever TOO bad that make up artist doesnt work at MAC any more :( i need to find her lol
