I made an appointment with VIOLETA for 11am today to get a haircut.I arrived on time after having a terrible job finding a parking spot on the street because you will never get a parking spot in this strip mall.I was a bit surprised she was still cutting another man's hair when I arrived but after another 10 minutes she was done.I figured this guy had arrived late for his appointment which turned out to be true.There was another guy sitting on one of the arm chairs who I figured was waiting for his mate so I was absolutely amazed when Violeta said she was cutting this other guy's hair next and wouldn't be that long.Hang on ....I'm the guy who always makes an appointment and sees her on time every time as I have done for 2 years or so.I always give her a very good tip above the $14 cash only price she charges.I have better things to do with my time than sit around in a hair salon in a crappy neighborhood waiting for a greedy barber to fit one more haircut in instead of sticking to the agreed schedule.Violeta knows how to cut hair but I will not be stuffed around like she did to me today.I won't be back because there are many other good barbers to choose from and most of those don't insist on cash payment only.WHAT A ROTTEN EXPERIENCE! Christiano is the best! I've been coming here for years. He and his staff all do a great job on me and my son.

This place rescued me. I had very long hair and after thinking about it for weeks decided to cut it off about shoulder length. I made an appointment and on a Friday morning went to a DIFFERENT salon. I showed this stylist a photo of what I wanted- I got a ridiculous hair cut. I looked like Dora the Explorer...don't get me wrong, I like Dora, but I am a 35 year old real person, not a cartoon! I didn't ask this stylist to fix it because it was obvious he had no idea what to do. Sad and upset that all my hair was gone, I went home and found Christiano's Hair Lounge on Yelp with great reviews. I called Saturday morning and spoke with Christiano, who said he was not working but he gave me Claudia's number and promised I wouldn't be disappointed. Christiano also urged me to take advantage of the Yelp Deal, $15 fro $30. WOW, thanks for pointing that out- he saved me $15! Thankfully I was able to get an appointment with Claudia that afternoon. When I arrived I found parking easily and was pleased at the ambiance of the Lounge. Claudia welcomed me and offered me a beverage and then we got down to work. Claudia was excellent! She fixed my hair and gave me a cut that I actually like- I know that sounds odd, but my hair was messed up so bad I really was just aiming for hair that was 'OK looking'. The icing on the cake is the price- bargain prices for excellent service and experience. Thanks to Claudia I feel wonderful! I will be going back and I highly recommend her.
