This is where you want to get a cut. It's a hole in the wall barber shop in North Park, family owned, and up until recently it was a father a son (the son Javier opened his own shop out in Santee so he was replaced by an ex-marine). Let me first just say I'm not the easiest guy to when comes to getting a haircut. I never quite know what I want, but at Raymonds I always end up looking sharp. You can book an appointment but I always walk in and never have an issue being seen. A regular cut is $15 and that includes a hot lather shave. They do classic cuts, military cuts, yes even hipster haircuts, and they're great with kids. I highly recommend these guys.
I was Vacationing in SanDiego About two weeks ago. I needed a hair cut and some shaving. Both Papa and Son Raymond took some years off. The place was full but they never felt rushed, they did a great Job.
This a great barbershop. I go here all the time, the younger Raymond is my go to bit the father isn't bad either. And they can cut black hair FYI!
Really good service. There was only one guy on when I went (on a Thursday afternoon) so it took a while to get served but it was well worth the wait.
