Awesome salon! I'm usually really picky about the people that cut my hair so I'm glad I gave this place a chance. Jamal is the name of the guy that cut my hair. I didn't give him much to work with because I never know what to do with my hair and he did an awesome on despite that. Much better value than Voodoo for sure!

I am a return customer to Urban Pearl because their shop has such a great vibe, their staff is super personable and incredibly talented! I had my hair cut by Mayson this time, she gave me the perfect layered cut. My thin hair now has a ton of body and looks amazing! I usually have to 'fix' haircuts myself because I am so picky, but there is nothing I would change about this one. I will never trust anyone else to cut my hair again! I am a lifer!

I used to LOVE urban pearl and would only see one stylist there. Then the last time I went (about a year ago now), she let my color set for over an hour because she was busy cutting her co-workers' hair. My highlights turned out purple-pink in color, not copper-red like I asked. It was almost like I was an inconvenience even though I paid over $200 for the cut and color. She also did a terrible cut that day and didn't pay any attention to what I asked for. I haven't been back since.

Chuey cut my hair. I had pictures and was very specific about my cut, color & style, needless to say I cried when I got home. My 11yr old asked me...Mom what happened to your hair? I have felt UGLY for 3months. This was an awful experience for me. Not one of my needs were met. On top of all of this disappointment I paid $175.00!
