I had a living social coupon and tried Boulder Natural/Organic Hair Salon. The owner is from Peru and was informative and caring. She is making a go of it here and I cheer her on! My hair looks great! I was pleased with her service. Perhaps the difference in culture played a part in the negative reviews I've read here so please go in with an open mind and I think you will see her heart and receive a great hair cut. It was a wonderful value and she is passionate about providing organic products.

The salon is relaxing making it a treat to get your hair done. From the moment I walked in the door, I experienced professionalism and pampered. Norka did an amazing job with my hair and did not waste a moment of my time. I will definitely go again and highly recommend this salon. Normally I hate going to get my hair done (and it showed) it took way too much time and all I ever ended up with was a so so job and 2 hours out of my busy schedule. Now I have found a salon that gets it - I will go more often. I only write reviews when a company provides more than what is expected. ALSO - the products are AMAZING!

I can truly say this was a bizarre experience. The owner asked all sorts of inappropriate personal questions and was very edgy. She had 3 other clients there at the same time and was trying to juggle us all which made it take longer then it should. Most importantly, the highlights she did on my hair did not get closer then 1.5 inches to the root. I had to go to another salon 1 week later to have it re-done. There was no way I was going to go back to have her fix it since I am pretty sure she would have yelled at me.

We never know who will choose our business, and whether or not they will hurt or help the business with the reviews. As we know we can not always please some customers. For this reason, most of the salons in Boulder not Boulder County do not take the RISK of offering these kinds of promotional deals.

I love this place! I got a great haircut at a great price from this woman who is warm and friendly. I don't get the one star reviews here, not only was this place first rate in my view, but this is a business that offers organic products (the only place in Boulder I know of that does so) and recycles cut hair. There should be a six star option!
