I was tired of stylists that don't know how to cut or work with curly hair. I was terrified of having to get a haircut because I knew it wouldn't be what I wanted and would take a long time to get the curls back. That is until I went to Monumental Styles and Terri Spells! The staff there was so hospitable that my first time there was like vising with a friend. Terri knows how to work with naturally curly hair, took time to show me how to take care of it myself, and listened to my concerns. It was quite a bit more expensive than I usually spend and farther away (30+ miles) but it was worth every penny and mile. I loved the cut and because I was growing it out, I haven't been there in six months. I've decided I want to cut it shorter again and Terri and Monumental Styles are the only ones I trust. I will be seeing them again soon!
