I understand english isnt everyone's first language but maybe you should have the person who speaks english most fluently answer the telephones. You cant just hang up in the customers ear because of a language barrier. Won't be coming here anymore and won't recommend.

This place has the worst service! I called to asked about getting my hair done and the lady spoke very little English and she told me that they were busy and hung up the phone. When I called back, no one answered. That made my decision to not give them my time or money. I would not recommend this place because they had poor service over the phone, who knows what they would do to my hair. Poor customer service=poor quality work!

I just recently got a haircut at Dominican Beauty Salon in New Castle and I am wondering how people leave from that place happy. I was waiting for 1.20 h. and i was in so much pain while my hair was combed. Their stuff is extremely rude. The prices are unbelievable. For just trimming of my hair they charged me $75. I asked for a lot of volume, I only got a lot of curls. The haircut is not bad, but everything else....NO!

Two plus Definitely not your glamorous salon, but fast efficient and they do a nice job. I went last year with a freshly permed head ~ they gave me a roller set and I was very satisfied. Now that I am growing my perm out, I went again with lots of new growth. I got a blow dry and flat iron style and was very satisfied. They key is with the prices is to discuss before hand. Each time they charged me what was on the posted sheet ~ but I got it set in before they started working. Don't think I will go to get a cut or a color or anything like that, but a fast quick nice style ~ I'll be back.

I've gone there two times total. The first time was for a simple relaxer on my mid-length and medium thickness hair. They did a great job, I loved the results and they lasted. It didn't take too long either considering how crowded the salon was. The second time I went for a shampoo and color. I only got streaks on my bangs but the color was very nice and again, they made my hair very soft after it was done, even after a simple shampoo. According to my mom (she paid my way both times as gifts), the pricing isn't unreasonably high, but if I were to pay my own way, I'd probably debate if I was ready to spent that much. I do plan on returning very soon to get a relaxer and trim. I'm kind of stoked.
