I have been a customer of Abacos for a number of years and I am always well pleased with the services I received and yesterday was no different. I had a massage scheduled for 4 pm and as always, the therapist asked what specific areas were bothering me today and she addressed them as well as balanced the massage to include all other areas of my body. As always I was relaxed and relived when I left there.

My first appointment at Abacos Salon was in the first week of February 2015.I drive by the plaza it's in on Wekiva Springs Road frequently,and I always thought it was "Tobaccos"(maybe a tobacco shop.)I was greeted immediately as I came in the shop, and offered a cold flavored water.I had the appointment with Larry,and he took me back to a chair.I gave some guidelines for what I was looking for.He listened,and described what he would do.After he washed my hair,and I returned to the chair,he again told me what he was going to be doing as starting to comb my hair in preparation for a cut.When I asked, Larry said he had about 37 years experience with hair.He didn't look so old,but after my hair was cut, I was sure he had all that experience.He works quickly,but very precisely,and explained what he was doing while working.The shop was clean (even the restroom) and all staff friendly.It's been about 2 weeks and I know I got a good hair cut/style.It does not matter if I use a product after washing or not - whether I blow dry or not.My hair still looks good.I have gotten compliments from friends and family.Before I went there I read a few reviews.One was scathing.the others were all good.I just thought I needed to add my opinion,as I feel nothing is better than a good haircut.

I have been going to this salon for Facials, Back Massages, and Eye Brow Wax's for years and the experience is ALWAYS professional, extremely friendly, personable and relaxing. Too often, I have visited salons that have not been these things and I am so happy to have found a gem in this area. Terri and Gail are EXCELLENT! I had a hip issue and Terri was absolutely amazing at rubbing it out! I haven't tried the hair salon because I have another hairdresser that I have been seeing for several years.

This is a really special salon. The staff is very professional, friendly and caring. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. I use their services for hair styling, manicures, pedicures, facials, massages....all with excellent results. I highly recommend Abacos for whatever salon services you need!
