We visited this salon for the first time today and opted for the First Haircut Package. The cut was great, the place is really cute and I appreciated the stylists ability to get the job done quickly while keeping our 10 month old happy and engaged. All around a great experience.
We took my son for his first haircut today and overall, we liked the setting - the fun chairs the kids sit in, and train set and other toys were great to keep him occupied. The service was nice as well. However, this is the WORST haircut I have ever seen on a child. First, I spent a few minutes beforehand telling the stylist that I am planning to grow my sons hair long and that I love his length now so not to take off much, just shape it. She chopped it, and I mean chopped - his beautiful curls are gone! It looks like a short girls cut with odd layering and she left his sideburns long while chopping the rest. There are many places that look like she missed them all together. I have doubts whether she finished beauty school. And I know you're probably thinking kids squirm so much, and its hard to cut a kids hair, but that was not the issue here. He sat very nicely for her and the one point where he didn't want to, we held him still. Maybe we just got a bad stylist, but I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
They do your hair brilliantly and then give you a lollipop and a toy from the treasure box. It is fun to play with the train sets and etc.
