Ok .I admit it .I am a hair snob.I was expecting to be underwhelmed ( as one so very frequently is ) when going to a new salon.I read so many bad yelp reviews I was starting to doubt my decision to go to mizu. but I had a feeling ,so I went with it . I thank the sweet baby jesus I did ! wonderful from the minute I walked in.every single (beautiful) person there was lovely and had a smile or kind word .Did I say this was a late appointment? Yet I never felt rushed or like I was receiving less than anyones best effort. fantastic service. Ann was great she listened to me but gave her own suggestion which was on the money . The result? Amazing true red .Perfect .And again,so nice! I don't usually get a blow out but for a first time color it is everyones best interest ,so I indulged .Smart move. nino worked his magic and i left looking like a movie star.well my hair did anyway .overall fabulous. oh and all commented on my great haircut (thank you Lenny ,bumble and bumble uptown! ) so professional and classy.

I had a great cut by Patrick and perfect color by Grace and can't wait to go back. Patrick is so low key and smart - I love that he really took the time to listen to my lack of styling skill and gave me a cut that falls perfectly all the time. I don't have to worry about it and it just looks great.

I've been going to see Charles Maksou for about 5 years now. He is one of the best and could not imagine having anybody else touch my hair at this point. He always has a vision for you, but if you give him some guidance, he'll stay within it but be creative. The salon itself is great. The staff is very friendly and go beyond to make sure you have a comfortable experience. I will continue to go here and to see Charles. Highly recommended.

A friend recommended Darren for a cut and color (I was in the market for a new stylist) so I decided to give him a go and am so glad I did!! He was fab, so cute and nice, and most importantly my hair looks amazing! I've never been so happy with it. I would definitely recommend Mizu, everyone was really nice. More expensive then what I'm used to, but I gotta say, you get what you pay for and more here.

Christine B at Mizu is a phenomenal hairdresser! My hair is long, very curly in the back, wavy in the front.... AND it's thick, but she cuts it perfectly. Every time I leave her chair, I get compliments all day long! She never disappoints!
