i came here for a Brazilian Wax, it was my first time the staff were nice. I was taken in back by a woman named Jodi, due to it being my first time see kinda walked my over the process and told me what kind of wax they had and how it would feel. None the less IT WAS SO PAINFUL i couldn't stand it i wanted to get up and leave but either way i still had to pay for it so i sat it out. Now i had grown my hair out to the correct length and all. But when the wax was applied she put it on all over let it dry and then proceeded to just try and rip all the wax off at once, being this was my first time i believed everything she said that it was normal to be in this much pain. When i was done there were patches of HAIR EVERYWHERE but according to Jodi that was fine and the hair was stubborn so she couldn't get it out. After i got done Jodi and the front desk clerk were very pushy about purchasing there products and signing up for a member ship. None the less i paid for my service and left as an unhappy customer. I was actually scared to do it again due to the pain i was in and how it didn't really take off the hair. I recently found WAXING THE CITY in Maple Grove, I met with a lady named Jamie and i told her my worries and how i was nervous about all the pain i would be in she started my service and .. THERE WAS HARDLY ANY PAIN AT ALL she removed ALL OF MY HAIR and she actually took her time with me she even plucked all my stubborn hairs out. We talked most of the time and before i knew i was all done. Not trying to be a debbie downer but i would never go back to European Wax Center. i don't think they know what they are doing or even proper customer service. I could never bring myself to ever get a service
