Went there after seeing the ad for 1/2 first time haircuts...and it was the roughest haircut I have ever had, almost violent on my scalp. Very unfriendly, barely tried to communicate and seemed very annoyed I asked for the discount. Needless to say no tip was left and I wont return.
Very impressed with the haircut I received at Varsity Clips. I used to go to a salon in Saint Louis for a $40 haircut, found that I could get the same results for a fraction of the price. Great atmosphere accompanied by quick and friendly service.
I cannot say enough bad things about this establishment. You will wait a ludicrous amount of time for anything you need and that time will always be at least two to three times longer than the initial cut or styling that you wanted done. The waiting room is a purgatory of old magazines and bad music. I highly recommend visiting ANY other salon within the Columbia area.
Really confused by some of these bad reviews! I honestly haven't gone anywhere else in Columbia since I found this place. My hair is a big part of my personality, and they nail it every time.
The drying service is a complete fraud. They don´t say about the price but your hair looks like as if you put your dry at home for few minutes... a complete disaster. I want my money back of this service.
