I will NOT be returning to this salon!
I went in not to get anything done, just to get a stylist's opinion. I wanted to perm my hair, and they'd be able to tell me what kind to get and how the process works.
So I went in, and the woman at the counter took a look at my hair. She said I was not a good candidate, that my hair was very damaged. She also said that I had recently dyed my hair blonde, from what she could see, and when I told her that I had not in the past four years, she reacted as if I was lying. She suggested that if I 'still felt the need't to get a perm, to get an S4, I asked her what that meant in laymans terms, so that if I went somewhere else I would know what to tell them, and she refused to tell me. She claimed she didnt know what it meant... How can you be a stylist and not know? Clearly she just didnt want to tell me.
I left in tears. I dont use any heat products on my hair, and it's not damaged at all. Even if there was damage, it's highly unprofessional to say it in the manner that she did. I went to a trusted family friend for my perm, and she was appalled. She said my hair was in great condition, complete virgin hair.
I will not be returning to this salon. I am very upset about my experience.
