I love Mai! She's a perfectionist at my French manicure and always takes good care of me. She's funny and polite as well. Jennifer is great as well. I always have a good experience here.
I have a hard time even giving this place ONE star. I just left, and I can honestly say that it was the WORST manicure of my life. My gel manicure took a total of ten minutes to complete. There are smudges everywhere, and she barely filed/cut my cuticles. I don't like to make a scene so I politely paid (but didn't tip) and left. I'm so upset I wasted my money on this place. I will be immediately soaking this hideous manicure off the second I get home. DO NOT GO!
I had been here before for a brow wax and although the ladies were cold I figure since it is cheap and the closes place to my home I will just drop by for a quick brow wax. I guess they are not making money and the woman hounded me to get my lip waxed - which is funny since I don't have hair there (I am very into having no body hair and my family/husband would tell me if I needed it done). She then proceeded to hound me another 6 times and tell me I had "lots o' hair on lip it looks ugly". I finally had it and yelled at her in front of everyone how insulting she was and ran out with out giving a tip. I will never return again and left in tears. It appears that other reviewers felt they were "having a bad day".. it seems to be everyday!!
I normally go to a salon in Princeton, but I needed fills so I went to this place on my lunch hour. They told me it would be $15. A woman started and then sent me to a boy who must have been 16 years old. There is no way he had a license, and it took him nearly 2 hours. I had to have him repaint them, as well. When I went to pay, they said it was $33?! I was furious but I had to get back to work so I paid it. Within 48 hours, two of my nails broke. Maybe they were having a bad day when I was there, but I won't go back.
They SUCK! Don't go to the girl that sits at the first table to the right. Something is wrong with her. She rushes and she is rough. If you try and say something you don't like done she gets crazy and takes it personal, Then gives a major attitude and if you go back continues to even if it is a year later, they complain about their customers in their language. It is sad and funny because in the long run it is their loss, because I will never go there again. Good customer service is the key, and listening to what your customers want. Do the job right don't act like you're to good, or this is not the type of work you should be doing people. I threw away my money on them this time and it will be the last. Makes you wonder how they stay in buisness.? There is not even a manager you can talk to if needed. Get off your high horses and do your job right. No one is going to your salon to watch you act like you're God. people pay good money so that you'll do the job RIGHT! Get with it or quit if you're not happy. There are plenty of other salons that care don't waste your time going to this place.
