I was very happy with the way they did my hair. Just like I read on one of the previous reviews, Safi took me to the beauty supply store and helped me pick the hair for my braids. I enjoyed watching the African movies, and even though I was the last client she had no problem letting me finish watching the movie that was on. It is a small shop on the second floor with no big sign, but I will definitely come back.

I had my hair braided here approximately a month ago. I have a light textured hair, so braids usually don't stay well in my hair, but after a month I've only had to fix on braid. Usually after 4 weeks of wear and tear it would have been time for me to take them out, but my hair still looks great! I originally brought the wrong hair with me when I went but she walked with me to the hair store and helped me pick out the one I actually needed. The only negative thing I have to say about the experience was the salon wasn't a very 'professional' environment. I will definitely come here again!

I am very happy that I chose to have my hair done here. I had kinky twists done. I didn't wait long for her to arrive. I asked Safi not to do them too tight as my hair breaks easily and I was having some regrowth issues on my right side due to breakage. She did as I requested. The twists are medium sized using 2 1/4 pks as i don't like a mass of kinky twists on my head, and done in 4hrs! My experience at other salons was 5-6hrs.This will be my goto salon from now on. She has a very nice personality. I highly recommend her.
