Soultry Scissors Hair Studio

In regards to Jennifer O's feed back. Your concern is valid. However, as the owner of Soultry Scissors, I must express my concern of my professional feedback to you and your expression of it being "BS". I am a college graduate, licensed professional that seeks advance training every year and am educated in all aspects of this industry. To brand this business, it is my responsibility to train and educate my staff as I know Velma is more than competent to address all of her clients needs pertaining to hair care. We use professional products and tools. Based on your consultation, you needed your hair blown out and straight. Dealing with natural hair, hot tools will adjust the natural hair wave pattern. Follow thru on your part to get a conditioning treatment would have dealt with the smell you were uncomfortable with and continuous care with trims and other natural hair styles would have made you a lot more comfortable with all that could be done with your hair. You are more than welcome to come back to explore these treatments and styles with another hairstylists. Best Regards, Kimberly Givens, Owner
This has probably been one of the worst salon visits I have ever had! Velma was my "hair stylist " who was straightened my unprocessed hair. She put very little Argan oil as a heat protector on my hair. Fast forward a week or so later when I washed my hair, it smelled brunt and I washed it two days in a row and the smell would not leave. Most of my hair did not revert back to its curly state ; it was heat damaged!! I called up the shop immediately and spoke with the owner she tilde "it's not damaged it just needs time to remember to curl " what type of bs is that? You go to salon professionals for their expertise not for them to destroy your hair and waste your money. Very unprofessional and there is a lack of expertise. Don't waste your time, money, or hair health just go somewhere else!
Rahmeena is an awesome locktician.
