I am in shock at how badly managed this salon is! When I walked through the door, there were two stylists standing at the desk and neither of them greeted me or asked me what service I needed. There was one other patron in the salon, but she was at the back sink getting her hair washed. I told them I wanted a haircut and they just said "okay" and continued to stare at me. After a long, awkward pause, one of the stylists told me to go to the back sink to get my hair washed. The hair wash was very rough and I could feel the woman scratching my scalp very hard with her fingernails as she did the shampoo. After washing my hair, the woman barely towel dried my hair and then told me to go sit in my stylists chair. I had no idea where she wanted me to sit and she seemed flustered when I asked her to point out the correct chair. My stylist was one of the women who stared at me when I first entered the salon. She was very fast in cutting my hair, but it seemed like she was hacking the hair off rather than carefully cutting. Then, she used the hair dryer to blow my hair all over my face leaving it a tangled mess. I went to the front, paid my bill and walked out without tipping my stylist. There was no reason to reward the bad service I received at this location.
My mother and I have been going to Mary for hair cuts, colored, styled for prom and special occasions for 11 years! She is a real sweetheart and very good at what she does! If Mary isnt available, ask for Pat, she's great too!
