Vida Nails
Reviews
Decided to try Vida nails for a mani-pedi. The nail technician was filing my toenails so violently she sliced into my big toe on the edge. This was at the very beginning of the pedicure. Therefore, the cut stung the entire treatment. Woke up this morning - my toe still hurts and my heels itch. I am wondering if the pedi bowl had possibly not been cleaned or sanitized. Will not be returning.
I went because I had a coupon for a mani-pedi. I also had an ingrown toenail, (which I've never had in my life). The gal asked me why " you not go to American Doctor for this?!" Are you kidding me? She did not take care of it, and my pedicure which should have been a relaxing experience WAS NOT. She would not stop asking me questions, and her English was very broken, so I could not understand ANYTHING she was saying. VERY AWKWARD. Plus her and the other girl kept laughing and talking in their native language, which is SO rude, as it makes customers think they are talking about them. Which is most cases, they are! The manicure was a nightmare. The water was red-hot, and she bloodied 2-3 fingers, and picked at my cuticles, and I was still left with hangnails, and very sore, tender, cuticles. She tried to talk me into gel, and the other one tried to talk me into a brow wax, as they laughed some more. When I gave her the coupon for $29.99, she rang it up as $30.00, and did not thank me for a more than generous tip. DO NOT GO HERE. I came from Wilsonville, what a waste of gas. The owner needs to conduct some TRAINING, ASAP> finally, two of nails have already chipped off.
This was the second time I have been to vida nails with my girlfriend and the first time was horrible so we thought we would give it another shot. The second time was even worse. We had to wait again 45 minutes when they told us it would be a 10 minute wait, then when they finally did get to us the technician had to get up in the middle of it multiple times to go finish someone else's nails or ring someone up at the register. Not to mention when I got home my toe nail polish just rubbed off my nails like it was mud. HORRIBLE place.
I have tried this salon on a few occasions as it is close to my house, but I will NEVER go back. Their prices are totally out of line, and they do a terrible job! I can literally give myself a better manicure and pedicure at home (minus the massage, of course). My technician got oil all over my brand new shirt sleeves, didn't ask what length I'd like my nails, and overall, wasn't great at doing nails. Sad for me and my pocket book.
I have been to this nail salon for over two years . I have always been happy with their services. They keep the place clean and with no smell of chemical.
