I've been a client of Wendy's for over 10 years and her salon - Deseo Salon is AMAZING and has the BEST SERVICE! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the front desk, to the glass of wine you enjoy during your service you feel like you're stepping out of your crazy day and into a relaxing experience. My stylist Wendy and also the owner of the salon, is hands down the best color specialist in Austin!
Four years ago, on a whim, I decided to tweet Brooklyn Decker (model, t.v./movie actress and Andy Roddick's wife) to see who did her hair while in Austin. Imagine my surprise when she promptly answered! She recommended the fabulous Kelsie Gibson! She has been doing my hair ever since and I am always a happy camper when I leave the salon. Extremely Skilled at cuts, color, wedding updo's, extensions as well as men's cuts she is a one stop shop for everything hair. Deseo is a groovy-cool intimate salon in the Seaholm district in a great location for an afternoon of beautifying - you'll love it!
From the décor to the music selection, Deseo Salon is a very cool space. I absolutely love the live wall-art! It goes without saying that I always walkaway feeling like a million bucks. Wendy and her crew are incredible stylists and I am happy to be their walking advertisement. Just yesterday a random lady asked me where/who does my hair. I need to start carrying business cards!
