I am so happy that I found Modesty Hair Studio! I recently moved to Austin and have been on a search for a new hair salon. I'm usually pretty boring and just ask for an inch or two off the bottom each time, but this time I was feeling adventurous and decided to get bangs. I brought a few pinterst pictures with the textured bangs I was hoping for and Brianne nailed it! She also made some great suggestions about adding texture to the front pieces of my hair so the bangs would blend in. I've gotten so many compliments! The best part is that the prices were reasonable and the salon is walkable from my east Austin apartment. Brianne's price was $55 and with a yelp check in you get $10 off your first cut. I would highly recommend this salon!
Simply put--she's the best. She always knows exactly what I want and has my best color-interests at heart. The place is cool and hosts gallery openings (I believe) and is set in the heart of the blossoming hipster-y part of town.
