WORST PLACE EVER. i had surgery and i couldn't do my hair. my family told me this place was ok. so i stopped and never in my life have a had someone so rude cut my hair. i asked him to please blow dry my hair since i could not, tis why i had gone to get my hair done for me. some old Long Haired Hippie Refused to blow dry my hair cuz it was un healthy and that he would let it dry naturally. so i told him "fine, do that" he told me "that would take a few hours" i told him "DUH THATS Y I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DRY IT" pointing to his blow dryer. i asked him how much it would be to blow dry it and he said very sharp "7 DOLLARS" so just paid and made sure he knew i was not leaving him a tip for the poor job performed
No good. Crappy haircut, nice service, but uneven and just poor all the way around.
Great for the whole family! Excellent value
AVOID! One time there, never going back. If you're wanting a men's haircut, you're better off doing it yourself with clippers. All around bad. What makes this tough is that the stlyist was a nice guy, he just shouldn't be cutting hair. The male stylist sports long grey hair under a RedSox baseball cap. Went in looking for a low fade with a trim, pretty simple style and probably Chapter 1 of Men's Haircutting 101 class. I might as well have spoken a different language. Pretty clear he didn't understand the meaning of fade and trim. He started off ok with the clippers and the correct guard I asked for and proceeded to begin what appeared to be a fade. It went downhill from there. After all was said and done, the hair on one side of my head was noticeably shorter than the other. I'm not even sure how this was possible given he was using the clipper guard! He cut more over the top of the ear than the other so that it was visibly cut too short over one ear, the sideburns were uneven and the trim for the top of the hair was a full-fledged cut. Attention to detail... this haircut was not! I can usually style away any imperfections made by a budget men's haircut but this guy should be banned from cutting hair and license revoked. I went home, took out my clippers, found the smallest guard I had that would cover up the mistakes and buzzed all to one length. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $ to get a respectable fade and trim from a place that understands men's haircuts. Geez.
The name of this business is highly overstated and bordering on false advertisement. I have used Great Haircuts twice now and received very poor haircuts each time. Poor attention to detail and all around bad job, both times I had to trim up spots they had missed upon returning home. Also at $14.50 for a budget haircut, they are definitely overpriced, there is a Cost Cutters across the street in the HEB complex that gives much better haircuts and I believe they may be a couple dollars cheaper. On the positive side, Great Haircuts has longer hours which I why I was forced to return there in the first place.
