I recently moved to Austin and I was seriously afraid of having to find someone else to do my hair. So I put it off until I had to just take a chance on someone. I found J Brandon's on the web, read the reviews and called them. They got me in the day I called. When I got there they spent a lot of time making me feel comfortable and told me exactly what they would be doing and how much it would cost. It was more expensive than I hoped, but for Austin, not so bad, and my hair has never looked better. Lupita was fantastic! I am so glad I went there, and if you are searching for a place to go, you won't be disappointed if you choose J Brandon's!

I visited J Brandon's for the first time yesterday -- but it looks like I'll have to continue making the trek out there. It's worth it the drive. I am always horrified by salon prices, so have mostly resorted to cutting my own hair for years. Recently, however, I decided to get a way high-maintenance color job. I actually only came to J Brandon's for my first touch-up, hoping they could affordably restore it to the way it looked last month. In fact, Elizabeth not only did my roots -- she actually brightened and toned the previous job so that the whole thing looks *perfect* -- even better than before. Oh, yeah, and she also gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had, checking in with me constantly to make sure she was getting what I wanted. And the price was so much more reasonable than other places: I've had a cut and highlights done for twice as much at a downtown salon. Plus, the atmosphere in J Brandon's was so relaxed and friendly. These ladies definitely know what they're doing, but they're not going to act snobby or rip you off. Definitely going back!!

I have difficult hair and have used many of the best hairdressers in Austin; I have yet to find one that compares. I can recommend them without reservation for their skill, prices, friendly environment and genuine concern for their clients.
