I have seen 14 other doctors since my back went out. Some Orthopedic, Neurosurgeons, Neurologist, and pain management doctors. Dr. Tran is like no other doctor I have ever meet and I have been going for over 2 years now. When you meet Dr. Tran for the first time he is excited to see you and determined to help you take the pain away. He is a genuine, honest, caring, compassionate person and doctor. He will listen to you and is truly hearing your concerns. He always educates you fully with your problem and what approach he suggests. I have had may epidural injections and nerve ablations. I have had all those procedures done before and very painful, with some doctors using anesthesia via IV but you still had to be awake. I felt it all. With Dr. Tran I go in with no type of sedation, pain pills or muscle relaxers for any of my procedures although he does offer something. I just was in so much pain the first time that I told him lets just do it and I never use any medication. I get steroid epidural injections in my back, back muscles, neck and tail bone. He has also performed 2 nerve ablations. The last one being a nerve ablations on my tail bone. I have been using steroid injections in my tail bone since 2006 and now no longer works. The pain is excruciating! I was nervous going in to get the ablation but I still do not take any medications for my procedure. He started to numb the area and he numbed it so well that I did not even feel the heat and my skin is so thin in that area now from the shots. It was not painful during and after. I thought I would go home and once the numbing medication would wear off that I would feel some pain from the procedure, NO. I felt no pain, to my surprise even hours after. This was total SUCCESS for me!!!! I am a pro at shots now but it helps that I have such a great doctor by my side eager to take the pain away. Thank You so much DR. Tran and staff!!!!!!
