I went to the old owners, too. And was happy with my nails, but was not happy with the general cleanliness of the shop but went anyway because my nails looked so nice. When they closed, I found another shop closer to my home, and LOVED the way they did my nails and pedi.... but then they closed! Ugh! So back to Galaxy under the new management... just to try it out. The first time I had my nails done, they were VERY nicely done by Jesse. I was also happy with the pedi and prices. I went back a couple of weeks later for a hair "trim" with Tommy and he really "gets it". For the first time in 4 years I have found someone who can cut my hair the way I want it. I went in this week for a fill, and it is the worst! Jesse only works on Wednesday, so Jeri did my fill and gel. It took her NO LESS than 2 HOURS!!!!! and she cut my cuticles in four places. The acrylic is lumpy, and the polish doesn't cover my whole nail... just pretty much a stripe down the middle. Plus! she charge me 40 bucks!!! I don't get that at all!!! (unless she charges by the hour for being so slow.) IF YOU GO THERE GET JESSE!!!! Go on Wednesday and do NOT let anyone else do your fill!! I will go back for haircuts and to see Jesse - but will not go back at all if they continue to overcharge.

New management is TERRIBLE! The shop has changed from a nail salon to a nail salon/barber and the man who runs it is horrible to his workers and completely unprofessional. He refused to allow use of a gift certificate that was paid for back in June and when the customer got upset, he started yelling at the nail technician who wrote it out for her and then fired her publicly and very loudly. After the customer left and while the tech was still there, Tommy started yelling to me and my friend about how the customer is trying to screw him over and he's sick of the technicians taking advantage of him and his money. After the tech left he continued complaining to us about how horrible of a worker she was. This went on for over an hour and a half. He then proceeded to try and make things better by showing us pictures that he's taken of kids who came in to his previous barber shop. This was an absolutely surreal experience and although they do amazing pedicures, stay away.

This establishment has gone down hill ever sense's it has changed owners, the few times I have gone in for services they have cut my cuticles to were they bleed and my nails look terrible I will be going somewhere else. The prier owns were by far better am sad they left.

Great service, they do a fantastic job, very receptive to what you want, and excellent pricing! (get the guy for the pedi for a great foot/leg massage) I only come occasionally, but my sister has tried most of the nail places in everett and on the eastside, and she always comes back here for everything. They know everybody by name. Great little place! :D
