Shear Dimensions Salon and Day Spa

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I had my hair cut there once and it was "okay". When I went back the next time, I helplessly sat in the chair while the employees argued over using each others hairspray and other beauty products. Like an idiot, I went back the third time, and after waiting around in town for 30 mins for my appointment, I was asked by the stylist (Karen) to come back in an hour because she was eating lunch. Then I just reluctantly went back the 4th time because I was absolutely desperate and they left me in the lobby for 10 mins while they tried to find the lady who was supposed to be cutting my hair (again, the stylist was Karen, but that horrible owner lady at the front could NOT be worse! Judgmental, mean as hell, etc.). If you want to deal with unreasonably rude, caddy women who will treat you like crap, get your hair cut here! Otherwise, I would suggest finding another place to go.
STYLIST TEXTED THE WHOLE TIME! I was looking to get a substantial haircut and donate to Locks of Love. Shear Dimensions does donate to Locks of Love which is awesome, however, my experience was NOT awesome. The stylist who cut my hair was not willing to get to know me or ask questions to know what kind of a haircut would suit my lifestyle. This can all be overlooked if you're just looking for an okay haircut. What I can't overlook is the fact that the stylist was texting from his cellphone the entire hour he was cutting my hair. At times, he would hold up my hair about to cut and then his phone would beep and he would slowly drop my hair and scissors so he could read his text message. At one point he said, "I really have to take this call," and talked on his phone while standing over the chair I was in. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe something urgent was occurring, maybe he was playing an online game of Scrabble and it was his turn. No matter, I expected at least some sort of explanation for his behavior. If you're looking for a good haircut that fits you and are going somewhere for a fun experience, I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND Shear Dimensions.
