This place is supposedly children-friendly just because it has some toys and a little play area. However, it's only good for older and very co-operative kids. The ladies lack understanding of children and how to manage them. I took my 16 month old for a haircut and he was scared and crying. The hairdresser was irritated and impatient and she actually looked at him and said : if you don't stop moving I won't be able to cut your hair. Who talks like that to a one year old!
Staff are very rude and condescending. If you're going to comment on customer's parenting styles to other patrons while the parent is standing right there...you're not going to get any repeat customers. We had taken our kids there twice...the 1st time was excellent, although the stylist's last day... the 2nd time however was terrible. If you're going to have a play area for kids to play, then expect kids to be kids.
This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes, there's a friendly hairdresser and a nice haircut and sometimes it's an impatient hairdresser and not so great haircut. This place is definitely not great for difficult kids or kids with special needs.
