I purchased a wowcher voucher, this was for a Facial, eyebrow wax or tidy and gel manicure or pedicure at Bliss Fish, Greenwich (worth £75). My total was £25 I had arranged with the owner of the salon to be booked in on my birthday at 15.00 She was unsure if a particular therapist would be working that day so she said that she would call me back to confirm. When she called back i wasn't at home so she left a message on my answering machine telling me that it would be fine and to come along on that day. I called her back to acknowledge and reconfirm my appointment. When i arrived at the salon at 14.50 all the lights were off and shutters were down!!! At 15.00 still no one had arrived. I waited until 15.10 and decided to leave as clearly no one was going to turn up. When i arrived home there were no messages or missed calls from the salon. I did however call them and left a message expressing my disappointment, still no one has contacted me!! RUBBISH WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL NOT TO MENTION LOOKING FROM THE OUTSIDE IN THE PLACE LOOKS LIKE A TOTAL DUMP!!
I came to Bliss Fish with my family as we had a KGB voucher. We were very disappointed with the service. The guy in charge was dismissive and rude, he was playing with his mobile phone ringtones and then fell asleep in a chair whilst we were having the fish pedicure. Our voucher said that we would be offered a drink and foot massage but we were offered neither. Very disappointing.
I read the reviews 5 minutes before I left home, so I prepared myself for the worst! I purchased a voucher from Wowcher for myself and my friend. Our appointment was at 12 noon. I have to say that when I got to the salon, my first impression was that this was not a professional set-up. The decor wasn't professionally done, there was no television or any music playing. There were no lights on, and the place had not been cleaned. The salon could have done with a bit of heating. The only member of staff a man, was very unresponsive at the beginning, however he warmed up later on. I have been for a fish pedicures before, so I knew what to expect. The fish did their job well. The man scrubbed our feet for about a minute, then massaged it for 2 minutes. We were offered tea or coffee, no wine! Overall, I would say this was a disappointing experience. I could recommend 3 places off the top of my head that could teach this salon about professionalism. Avoid!!!
Having read these extremely negative reviews, was a little concerned at having purchased a recent Groupon deal for a fish pedicure. My friend and I were both very pleasantly surprised !! The owner was extremely pleasant and made us feel very welcome - the fish spa great - and yes, we had a drink and a foot massage. All in all a good experience !!
