Well Jessie is nice, but you have to be when you own the place. She bleached my hair on new years eve and burned the hell out of my scalp. I'm still trying to get my hair to normal. It was horrible! My scalp was pussing and hurt for weeks. She had me come in before the store opened to give me a free conditioning treatment that did nothing! That was the last I heard from her. So in my eyes she is far from professional and needs to go back to basics and relearn how to bleach hair. I paid her $200 to burn my scalp and ruin my new years eve night! I would go somewhere else that cares about you and has more experience.
HORRIBLE..I met with Jessie Moran-Maglio at her new location Salon Elle about touching up my highlights and getting hair extensions put in. After spending $1700.00 for services, nothing of what I requested was provided. My hair color undertone is now orange. I never requested anything more than a partial highlight touch up. The hair extensions were the wrong texture for my natural hair. I was promised the highest quality human hair with an application that would not damage my natural hair. Jessie applied the extension much to close to my facial hairline. I was promised an undectable look, however I could not wear my hair back without beads showing all over my head. After the first wash my hair turned into a curly frizzy look. My natural hair did not blend with the extensions at all. I also had to be seen at Urgent care because her application was so painful. I felt like I had nails poking my scalp and my hair follicles were turning red. When I confronted Jessie about my unhappiness she was nice at first, until I told her I wanted it redone or a refund. She offered a gloss treatment to smooth out the frizzy ends and tame the curls. I have sleek smooth hair the extensions looked nothing like my own. I was promised high quality and received over priced processed used hair. Honestly I didn't even want her to touch my hair again but I just wanted to have my look back. This whole situation has been nothing but stressful. The owner Michelle Lee is rude, unprofessional and knows ZERO about customer service. Needless to say I was also denied an invoice for the hair when requested.
I LOVE MY HAIR! My husband and I drove to San Diego on Saturday this past weekend and I had the Brazillian Blow Out Treatment done by JESSIE OF LA JOLLA. Right from the start I was very impressed by her professionalism. It was the first time I had an appointment with Jessie and I ABSOLUTELY love my hair! I have already booked my color appointment for next month.
GREAT HAIRCUT!! I was referred to Jessie by a friend months ago, and my only mistake was waiting until yesterday to finally go. I have had a series of average hair cuts and stylists that just cut and didn't care.. I highly recommend Jessie! (don't wait like I did!)
My wife Michelle saw Jessie to get a highlight touchup and extensions. Jessie SCAMMED us out of $1700.00. My wife’s look can only be described as a longhaired orange looking poodle that jumped out of a 1980’s music video. Her hair looked over processed and frizzed out. We visited Salon Elle 3 TIMES to discuss our unhappiness with her new look, Jessie was always booked for the day AND COULD NOT TAKE THE TIME TO EVEN LOOK AT HER HAIR. We also tried talking with the owner of Salon Elle, Michelle Lee, who is also a stylist there and she basically told us she could be of no help because she is just the landlord there. We will be taking both of these incompetent women to court. Thanks for reading this, Please Help Us and message them to refund our money.
