My massage was very pleasant, she communicated and asked me before doing anything in case I was sensitive about lotions. Would have been 5* except the spa and shower area could use a little remodeling. Worth the $.

This is my second time at the Day spa and I have been extremely happy every-time. After reading the reviews I was a bit scared, but I felt like a queen while been there. Their service was excellent both times and I am a very happy customer and will return again!

After being brought directly to the massage room from the waiting area, I was instructed to take off my clothes and leave them in the corner...if you're going to make me change in the room, at least have a clothes rack/hanger setup for my button-down! But, ok, I went with it and tossed them in a heap. After all, it was a gift. She left the room and once I was prepped under the covers and ready for my massage, she re-entered and my massage began. It started out...it was more a rubdown than anything. Finally, she did something very strange where she made circles around my cheeks and forehead with her fingertips...it was cool and ticklish for a quick second, but she continued to do it for 5 minutes, which annoyed the hell out of me. And suddenly, it was over. In addition, they over charged me for $ 250 instead of $120, without any notice in advance. they added some strange fees for the oils that they used during the massage, claiming these are unique oils! They would not let you leave until you pay in full whatever they charge you for!

Had a facial and bikini wax, the lady was lovely but not professional, she didn't give me a the spa experience that I payed for. In fact she cut down my time by at least 30 min. She squeezed my face so hard that she literally scraped the skin off my face, I'm in terrible pain a full 24 hours later. I called them to merely ask for a refund, I was passed on to the manager, who basically told me she could do nothing for me and didn't even let me finish my complaint, I was told I would have to speak to the woman who gave me the facial, and it was up to her discretion to give me a refund. I'm in actual pain at the moment, I look like I have been injured, I am a young nurse who will have to explain to my patients why my face looks like I have been burned. The facility itself was not very clean, the staff was friendly.

This spa is great! the staff is very friendly and i was quite surprised at how big the place was. Another reviewer complains of dollar store lotion, small towels and no sandals, which are true, but those are expected if you pay less from the more "trendy" spas. In fact, this place offers better service than those spas. I paid half of the price here than i did at a well known spa in san diego and my experience at this spa was WAY better! the steam room and sauna are wonderful (didnt go in the jacuzzi cuz had no time) and the massage and body scrub is excellent. a MUST try! a bonus is that there is a men's lounge where boyfriends or husbands can wait for their gf's or wives while watching TV! a MUST TRY!
