OH MY GOSH. So I have been getting an all over color by the same stylist for 5+ years. She has been great, but I wanted to do a very specific and big (for me) change. My confidence comes from my hair. People are constantly complimenting it. For this change however, I thought it would be best to see someone new. I asked tons of friends for referrals, waited and waited, and called around and got some quotes. I even looked on yelp, which I never do. For some reason, after reading the reviews on poppy, I said screw it. I called Sarah at 745pm on a frickin Wednesday, she worked me in, and I just went Friday. I brought her a picture, as I have done many times for the last 10 years I've been getting professional color done. It's never turned out like the picture. Well... Sarah spent her time talking with me an explaining how she would do it. I was looking at the color swatches and I was definitely apprehensive, but LET ME TELL YOU. WOWOWOWOWOWOW. Sarah did the most phenomenal job. It looks SO AMAZING. I was so afraid I would hate it and want to switch back to the color I have been and loved to be for 10 years. NOT THE CASE. I mean I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with the final product. She also gave me the first real haircut I've had in 4 years. My hair not only looks stunning.. and so natural....It feels completely different. It's lighter, my crown is no longer oily within 5 minutes of washing it. It's unreal. People LOVE it. I love it. She even did my eyebrows! I cannot say enough great things about Sarah. She and her partner stylist Paige were SO nice to me and let me ramble about work for the 4 hours I was there. I literally would recommend Poppy to ANYONE. They are so welcoming and not pretentious. SO AMAZING. So happy I found Sarah. The transformation is subtle to everyone else but MAJOR to me and I love it. I feel bad for Sarah... she is stuck with me now!!!!!!!!! A+++++++ I already have given 2 girlfriends her card. Also- Her prices? Yea, there is no price on how amazing my hair looks. NONE. Completely reasonable. I have paid substantially more at Modern before, and that place scared me out of getting highlights. Never looked good. Sarah listened to exactly what I wanted which I felt was going to be impossible to get, and her delivery 150% exceeded my expectations.

I recently got balayage done for the first time and I absolutely LOVE IT!! It looks so natural and I get compliments on my hair all the time. Paige and Sarah (the owners) are both awesome stylists.I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a cut and color. I've always had great experiences and I can't wait to go back!

I was referred to Paige to help with achieving a new hairstyle. She was very helpful and professional and ultimately provided an excellent haircut. The facility is very nice and overall I was very pleased with my experience. I will be going back again as well as recommending both Paige and Sarah for their services.
