I have been happily going their for several years now. I see Phil, he is amazing! My hair always looks so good when he's through, he's very friendly, and although he is very busy he has time and time again found the time to work me in or stayed late due to my own hectic schedule. Most of the stylists there now operate by appointment now, so you can walk in, but it might be a wait. I recommend making an appointment so you can enjoy the whole experience with out the wait time.

Great quality at great price! I tried different hair saloons in Charlotte area and Famous Hair has by far the best stylists at very affordable prices. Phil is my assigned stylist and he is very knowledgeable and talented with tens of years of experience. I have thinning hair and he knows exactly what type of style I need. Make sure you call for an appointment. It's busy there sometimes.

Not happy with them, especially around communication of waiting time. I went in for their advertised $5 hair cut a while back and had to wait a LONG time, which was understandable. The hair cut was good, and the woman who did it was fine, but the wait was painfully long, and they never communicated how long it would be, or had anyone to sign me in when I came in. You're supposed to sign yourself in, but there is no way to know that. Today I went back, and signed myself in. There were only a few people sitting in the waiting area, and two stylists, with a third arriving about 10 minutes later. Twenty minutes after that (30 minutes total) I am still waiting and ask about the wait time. I'm told it will be another 45 minutes. Naturally, if they had told me when I walked in that it would be over an hour wait, I would have walked out; but understood that they were busy, and probably would have scheduled an appointment for later. Instead I wasted 30 minutes before walking out angry and won't go back.
