Nu Waves Salon

I gave nu waves an honest chance. I am a blonde and always had my hiar heavily highlighted but never all over color. This has been successful since I was 13 so I've been doing it for years without complaint from a stylist. When I came into nu waves the girl suggested all over color and said she could match it well and etc etc anyway she changed my whole hair color to a bleach blonde with no dimension and well...it was totally different and then what do you do after your hair has been dyed almost white? It doesn't hold pigment well then so it's hard to change. I had this girl continue to do my hair for almost the last year because it was only $40 and easier than spending hundreds to mess with it but shes always busy so I had another woman do my hair last time, an older woman, she was EXTREMELY rude. She kept asking me about my families income, aren't I glad I wasn't given away at birth, and all this nonsense about finances and family and it was extremely rude and prying. I'm not a teenager, i'm in my mid 20's, and I pay my own bills and I don't know what this woman was getting at but my finances are none of her business and it doesn't matter if I am paying or if my parents are alive or if I am grateful I wasn't adopted or how much income my family produces..needless to say I've never returned and never will.
Nu Waves was terrible. The stylist didn't give me the style that I wanted... I told her big loose curls and she gave me big tight ones. I was charged $50, when the website clearly states that styling is $20-$40. When I made my appointment the girl on the phone told me that it would be cheaper if I washed and blow dried my hair at home. I was over charged! Never going back
I have been going to Nu Waves for years and have always been provided with the most courteous and professional service. The staff is very nice and attentive to your needs. Nu Waves is affordable and with the variety of services they provide, you have a one-stop full service salon. Well done!
