CK Massage & Spa

Not worth it!!! I would not recommend this place. I don't think I will ever go again unless I try a different massage therapist. I had Maddi and honestly did not enjoy the massage at all. To start with the room is VERY small (the table is turned diagonally so it will fit) and it smelled like B.O in there. No one wants a massage in a small room that smells like other people's bodies. Gross. Because the table was so small, she couldn't get around the table very easily… which causes a lot of stopping throughout the massage. When the massage first started she forgot the Deep Blue oil that I paid EXTRA for. She had to leave the room to get it and come back in, which I felt was very unprofessional. Not to mention wasting time that I paid for. The massage itself felt like something I could have gotten at a school for $20 and not from a professional. She didn’t maintain the same pressure throughout, which was very frustrating. There were some times that it was so light it felt like nothing, and other times that it was so hard it hurt. When it came to my legs it felt like something I could have asked my little niece to do for free… she probably spent a whole 30 seconds on each foot which is my favorite part, and not to mention the most relaxing for me. So needless to say that sucked. She also tried to talk to me throughout the massage. I’m usually all for being nice to people and making friends, but not when I’m PAYING you to help me relax. Another thing that bothered me was my massage ending a little early. My massage was supposed to be from 11:45-12:45 and I paid for that full hour. They tell you on the website to arrive 10 min’s early to ensure you get the full hour… which I did. When the massage was over and I began changing back into my clothes I realized it was barely past 12:40, so I guess I missed out on like 5 min’s? I don’t know why I’m complaining since I didn’t like the massage anyway… just bothers me that it was cut short when I even arrived early to ensure that didn’t happen! That could have been 5 min’s spent on my feet! My original reasons for going was 1. To relax & 2. Pain in my left shoulder… neither of these were accomplished at this visit. When I left I felt the EXACT same as when I got there. I was hoping to leave feeling relaxed and calm, and hopefully with no more shoulder pain, but didn’t get either… instead I only left with $44 less bucks in my pocket. In the end, like I said… I don’t recommend this place. I would rather pay a little extra and go to Massage Envy, or Amara Spa. Don’t waste your time or hard earned cash on this one guys!
Love it! I've been to Massage Envy many times and CK massage was 10 times better! Not to mention less expensive. I will definitely be back.
Great massage therapists...like really great. I would give them 5 starts, but they have ticking clocks on the wall, which isn't exactly relaxing during a massage.
I've trying out many massage therapy businesses in Utah and Salt Lake County of the years. SO happy I finally found Utah Valley! I've stuck with them for the last couple of years. Convenient location, even if you're coming from South Salt Lake valley, as it's just off the Alpine hwy. Casey is the best massage therapist I've had. And I've had a lot. I will say, however, that on the occasion when Casey is not available I've had good massages from the other therapists. Professional, good value, great massages! Note: Highly recommend the aromatherapy and hot towels.
My husband and I received a couples massage. He had Jessica and I had Sandra. He said that Jessica was VERY good at focusing on his specific focus area, her pressure was just what he needed, she kept in great communication with him the entire time, and her flow was phenomenal. Sandra was very well connected and relaxing, her pressure was intuitive and spot on, and each area she worked felt relaxed and released once she was done with it. I am pregnant and she was very aware of what I needed as far as pressure goes and did a wonderful job being careful but still highly effective. We both HIGHLY recommend Jessica and Sandra!!
